I have received the payment receipt of the college I wanted to take admission to in DU. However, should this be considered as a confirmation or should I contact the college once to inform them? What are the next steps after paying for DU fees?

Hello aspirant!

Delhi university does not send any confirmation mail regarding the admission. The fee receipt is the only legal receipt you have as a proof of your admission.

The admission process ends with the payment of fees. There are no further formalities to fulfil. Once you've paid the fees, wait for the college officials to contact you via email or phone calls or maybe whatsapp. You'll be informed about the commencement of your semester and all important updates will also be given to you by the college. Just keep checking the official site of the college and stay super active.

So after fee payment all you have to do is wait for the college to reach out to you.
