Hello Aspirant!

  • According to the clauses mentioned in the official Information Brochure for NEET UG 2019, the candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics , Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50 percent marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in the qualifying examination.
  • For SC/ST/OBC  candidates it is 40%
  • For Pwd candidates it is 45%
  • So if you fulfill the above criteria, then you are eligible for NEET UG.

The minimum aggregate that is required is 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology alone. You need to individually pass hese subjects but score 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for SC,ST,OBC. Your 10+2 marks only are required for appearing in NEET. From there on, its your score and Category that defines your possibility in getting an admission.
