No, your merit rank depends only on MET score. There is no weightage for class 12 marks but you must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject. And you must have scored minimum 50% marks taken together in Mathematics, Physics and any optional subject mentioned above. If you have scored the minimum percentage as mentioned above you don't need to worry.
