With a board score of 91% and a MET score of 92, your estimated rank is likely to fall between 20,000 and 25,000, based on previous years' trends. While this score may not be sufficient to secure top-demand branches like Computer Science Engineering (CSE), CSE-AI, or Information Technology (IT) at the Manipal main campus in the initial counselling rounds, you may still have a chance to get branches like Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Civil Engineering, Biotechnology, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering in the later rounds. However, you have a much better chance of securing CSE, IT, or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Manipal’s Bengaluru campus or even at the Sikkim campus, which generally have lower closing ranks. It's advisable to keep your preferences flexible and participate in all rounds of counselling, including the sliding and spot rounds. Additionally, you may also explore internal branch sliding after the first year if your academic performance is strong.
