Having a year back in your BTech usually won’t stop you from getting placed during your MTech campus placements at IIT Bombay. Companies mostly focus on your current skills, performance, and MTech academics. However, some companies may ask about your academic history, so be honest and explain what you learned from that experience. Work hard in your MTech, build strong skills, and prepare well for interviews. Your year back doesn’t define your future opportunities.
