Hello Ajay!
If you are interested in engineering and want to get job after doing engineering then according to my advice you should take drop of one year and prepare for jee exam .With the help of jee preparation you can get any good government college and from that college you can do engineering. If you are not interested in engineering then you should go for Bsc and don't take drop for one year. After doing graduation you can fill forms of government jobs.
Hope it answer your concerns.
B.Tech/B.Arch Admissions OPEN
Hey Ajay! I won't suggest you for drop or a year waste. You can persue B. Sc or you can opt for college with your current JEE Mains rank if you have appeared fir JEE Mains this year. You can also go for B. Tech counselling on your 10 + 2 result basis. There are some colleges which provide admissions on the basis of your 10 + 2 result. Hope this may help you.

Hey Ajay,
If you want to pursue BSc Then Go for it. But if you want to drop a year for preparation thats also a good option but you need to devote your whole year in the preparation. And if you can work with devotion go for it.
I'll not suggest you to prepare for mains while studying BSc. Cuz after a some time many students loose there interest and some time it might affect your BSc grades too. So better Don't go for this option. If engineering is what you want then better drop and give your self a chance.
Best Of Luck
