Yes you can use defense quota during state counseling if your parents are ex servicemen.
Last year Mbbs cut off for general candidates in assam under AIQ was 537 at Tezpur Medical college and under state quota was 420 at Tezpur Medical college.
BDS cut off under state quota was 402 at government dental college Dibrugarh and under AIQ was 514 at Regional dental college , guwahati.
So going by previous years cut off you can expect a BDS seat under general category at 418.
