The eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2021 has not been declared officially. However, the eligibility criteria states that candidates should have at least 75% marks in the class 12th examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12thclass / qualifying examination for admission into NITs, IIITs and CFTIs.

To fulfil the eligibility criteria, you can appear for improvement exam.

Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has revised its eligibility criteria for admission for the academic session 2020-21 due to covid-19 pandemic. As per the new eligibility criteria for admission, JEE Main qualified candidates need to obtain just pass certificate in class 12 irrespective of any percentage.

The criteria has been relaxed this time due to the pandemic situation.

As you have scored 74.6% in 2019-20 Cbse Examination. And you are preparing for jee Mains 2021 If you score a good  percentile in Jee Exams there will be possible to get IITs, NITs colleges. The only reuirement is that you have scored a minimum percentile of 75%.

If you have score less than 75% total board exam marks and you want to get admissions in any nit college, you will not get admission there, as the minimum eligibility criteria to get admission after qualifying jee exam is that the candidate must have 75% marks in their 12th standard.

As per the recent news, HRD minister has said to get admission in IIT, the Qualified candidates who have passed class XII examinations are now be eligible for admissions irrespective of marks obtained.
