hi,

in future if you want to go for research oriented field bsc in physics will be best choice. see engineering is a part of physics and it deals with the mostly application of physics rather than a vast learning of conceptual understanding. I would suggest you to go for a  reputed college for bsc then give iit jam for msc in physics from iits. or after msc you can apply for abroad university for 5 years integrated course on psc+phd degree.

hope it would help.
