First of all in order to appear for UPSC, you need to complete graduation in any discipline from a recognized University,you need to attain 21 years age and can appear in the final year of graduation also,there is no specific aggregate required in this case, you can fill up UPSC form once its notification comes up in the official website, the next year exam calendar gets announced prior to one year, so stay updated at the official website at upsc.gov.in for this.now if you're wholly and solely focused on cracking this exam the sooner you start the better it is, like being acquainted with syllabus which you can get from the official website of UPSC, go through it and learn it by heart this is important because this will help you understand what all to read and what all to skip, reading newspaper on a daily basis such as The Hindu, or The Indian Expreas is must, when it comes to books you can start with NCERTs as this will build your basic foundation and then move towards others books, go through precious year paper, there are plenty of sites which offer questions on a daily basis which you can use for practicing of answer writing, if you have any more queries ,you can ask me in the comment section below.
