Hello,

You have to pursue LLB in a regular mode, there is no other options other than this as LLB in distance mode isn't recognized by Bar Council of India, and moreover law as a discipline isn't just about learning theoretical concepts, the practical applications too matter in this case, generally speaking the eligibility criteria for LLB is passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university securing 45% aggregate to 50% aggregate, this varies among universities, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, admission process may be done through entrance tests such as DU LLB, BHU UET, LAT, AP LAWCET, TS LAWCET, KLEE, MAH CET LAW to name a few, or it can be based on the merit of the qualifying examination, After completing your graduation course in law, you can enroll yourself as an advocate in a Bar Council, you have to pass All India Bar Examination. Candidates who clear AIBE are given 'Certificate of Practice' by the BCI which make them eligible to practice in court of law. In addition to this, having practical experience in courts add a greater degree of value to one's growth in the career of law. By clearing exams conducted by Public Service Commissions, a law graduate can become a judge. After gaining experience, a law graduate can hope to become Solicitor General, a Public Prosecutor or offer services to government departments and ministries. Once you acquire an experience of minimum seven years as an advocate you can also appear for recruitment of Public Prosecutor by UPSC. There are other opportunities such as  other government exams based on the eligibility criteria of graduation such as Civil Service Exam, state PSCs, there are specialist posts in banking exams as well for law graduates, other than this there are SSC CGL/CPO/CDS/Railways exam for graduates which you can apply for in case you're interested.
