. In Chemistry, Transition Elements and Coordination Chemistry, Periodic Table and Representative elements take 3 questions slot. Thermodynamics and Gaseous state, Atomic structure, Chemical Bonding, Chemical and Iconic Equilibrium, Solid State and Surface Chemistry and Nuclear Chemistry and Environment get 2 questions slot each and the remaining get 1 question each. If we leave Physical Chemistry, that is Basic Concepts of Chemistry for 2%,Properties of Gases 2%, Thermodynamics 4%, Redox Reactions and Electromotive Force 5%, Structure of Atom 2% and Solid State 2%. That is 17% of the total syllabus. And you should score the remaining marks in the rest 83%. There are 25 questions in Chemistry section and approximately 8-9 questions are asked from Physical Chemistry. Out of the remaining 17 questions, assuming you get atleast 10 correct, you still get a score of 40. This is just an assumption but the actual score depends on how many questions you get correct.
