In 2018, there will be only one entrance exam to take admission in all engineering colleges including government state level colleges and private colleges except IITs.

So, for preparation you have to follow the syllabus of CBSE 11th and 12th class. You can go through NCERT books as syllabus will be based on it and it will help you to clear your basics and to build your fundamentals strong.
