I wanted to get into B.Tech Biotechnology in Karnataka, can I opt PCB (Biology instead of Mathematics) for writing KCET exam

No, you cannot.For pursuing a B.Tech degree through KCET exam, you need to apply as PCM candidate.You may replace Chemistry with Biology but Physics and Maths are compulsory subject for the eligibility criteria of the exams.If you will apply as PCB candidate then you will be eligible for B.pharma.

Hello , I am in 12 th now .I thought of choosing biotechnology by writing kcet exam ( PCB) .Is that possible?

Hello,
For admission in B.tech through KCET a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/computer/electronics with atleast 45% aggregate (for General category) and with 40% aggregate (for SC/ST/OBC) from a recognised board or university.So you need to have mathematics as compulsory subject.
