I was just surfing through the Brochure of Medical College Kolkata to check the exams needed for the admission there. Well, there was obviously NEET exam but along with it was WB-JEE Medical Exam which I have never heard of. Are WB-JEE and WB-JEE Medical Exams different and if so when is it held?

Previously, In India there we two kind of Medical Entrances. The first type of Medical Entrances are conducted by the State Joint Entrance Authority such as WBJEE Medical and the another type of Medical Entrance was AIPMT or All India Pre Medical Test which is now named as NEET.

Now few years, ago the NEET examination is made as the eligibility condition and the only entrance for the admission to different medical courses.

So now its only NEET & if you wish to take admission, you need to take admission on the basis of NEET rank.
