Do you mean surname?  So here's your answer:

DU will also ask for a valid photo ID proof such as Aadhar card, Pan card or the like, along with your marksheets. So even if your class 10 marksheet doesn't have your surname mentioned in it, if your photo ID proof has it, it will do.
