JNU,Delhi doesn't offer BA English(Hons),so you have to try for other colleges some of the best choices regarding this are

Loyola College, Chennai
Madras Christian College,Chennai
Christ University,Bangalore
Fergusson College,Pune
Hansraj College,Delhi
K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce,Mumbai

Swathy A Entrance test is conducted for Christ University, for others it's merit based on the qualifying examination.
