Congratulations for a good result in CMAT!!

Last year the cutoff for BIT, Mesra was somewhere around 45 percentile in CMAT. So, yes you have very strong chances of getting a call from this institute (provided you had filled its form).

You now need to work hard for its GD and PI which would rather be quite competitive. But do not worry because all the students who appear for GD-PI are more or less on the same level.

Have an idea of what's been happening in and around the country in the past few months, few eye catching news, general topics for GD ranging from abstract to science or fiction to non-fiction.
Interview will be either HR based pertaining to what you have done in your past or academics based.

Had you mentioned about your academics and past records, I would have been able to give you a more specific picture. Nonetheless, this is a generalised view of GD-PI.
