At 88 percentile your rank will be around 1lakh and thus no NIT, IIIT, GFTI is there at this rank for general category students (state quota is neglected here). You should wait for the upcoming jee mains exam and then decide your college.

With this percentile you are surely quallified for the JEE advanced examination and if you do better there, you have a chance of getting into IITs. But with 88 percentile in JEE Mains, NITs and GFTIs look difficult since their cutoff goes only upto 95 percentile and above. But you can try in some other govt or state private engineering collleges like KJ Somiaya College of Engineering Mumbai, Swami Vivekananda COE, Maharashtra, Manipal Institute of Technology, etc.
