These courses are prerequisites for upper-division civil engineering courses. ... Differential equations, taken after calculus 3, is a more advanced Mathematics course required by some civil engineering programs. If you are weak in mathematics,  there's no need to worry,  no one is born genius in maths , just take it as a challenge and focus on your maths , give proper amount of time on regular basis and soon you will be good at maths and yes never give up on anything whether it's maths or something else.
