Yes, you should have it ready in case they ask, most of the time IPU will not ask for affidavit because there are a lot of students who drop a year and take admission in IPU. But, if you have the resources to get an affidavit, you should get it made, otherwise, there is no such problem. You will be fine without it. Best of Luck.
