As per the eligibility criteria to get admission in the NITs/IIITs/GFTIs,the candidates need to have scored 75 percent in 12th from a recognised board or equivalent exam or be in  the top twenty percentile in their class 12th examination by the respective board. For SC/ST,the eligibility criteria is 65 percent.
