The candidates who have passed 12th from any recognized board with Science stream in 2018 or 2019 are eligible for IISER admissions. Candidates will be admitted to IISER only through following three channels:
1.Kishor Vaigyanik Protosahan channel(KVPY)
2. Joint Entrance Examination(JEE Advanced)
3.State and Central Boards Channel(SCB)
For SCB Channel:

Students who have passed 10+2level with science stream in 2018 or 2019are eligible to apply for admissions and appear for IAT 2019.

However, they will be considered for admissions to the degree programmes only if they obtain the cut-off marks specified for their board.Please see the cut-off criteriahere.

Students applying through SCB channel will have to appear in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) which will be conducted at various centres across the country.

Hey there

IISER has 3 modes from which you can take admission there.

1. JEE advanced.

2. Kvpy.

3. Aptitude test of IISER. To be eligible for this test you should be in top 1% in your board and since your percentage is 96% I guess you are eligible for the exam. This mode is easier than rest two.

yes, you cxan easily get admission in IISER for science degree subjects as the cut off for kerala board exam is 88% and you have scored 96%.

Another plus point is that you belong to muslim community because of which the cut off will get much less than 88 which is for general category candidates
