Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has decided to cancel its engineering entrance exam, i.e VITEEEfor this year due to the ongoing COronavirus pandemic crisis. By cancelling VITEEE 2020, the officials have decided to grant admission into the engineering programmes offered by all the four VIT campuses on the basis of class XIIth scores. Those who had appeared in the JEE Main 2020 exam in the monthof January will be given preference on the basis of their scores. The candidates will find the form to submit their qualifying exam and JEE Main scores on the official website of Vellore Institute of Technology.
Now, VITEEE 2020 will have Aptitude as a New Sectionamongexisting sections, i.e. Mathematicsor Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English! VITEEE is a computer-based test conducted for the candidates seeking admissioninVIT University to pursue any of the20 B.Tech programmes offeredat its campuses located in Vellore, Chennai, Amaravati, and Bhopal.VIT University conducts VITEEE usually in the month of April every year. Engineering aspirants whowish to pursue B.Tech/B.E. atVellore Institute of Technology (VIT) must appear for VITEEE2020and qualify in the exam.
