Yes while submitting your documents on the official site you need to change size as per the requirement. So you have to first of all scan your documents and then using resize tool or application on your PC or phone you can resize or set size accordingly. There are many Android applications for the resize of scanned images on play store so you can easily do it at home.

If your registration shows 'successfully registered' then it's clearly evident that  the documents uploaded by you are in the size limit mentioned in the notification and are acceptable.
Have they not be in the size limit, your application must not have gone in the next step and should not have shown 'successfully registered'

Definitely yes. 

This successful registration notification will only be shown when you successfully complete the entire form. Also, without uploading documents as per the required size won't let you to proceed further. So, chill out. Everything is done perfect.:

While uploading the documents required for the Counselling, if the documents aren't of the size mentioned, the page generally shows a dialog box stating that the documents aren't of appropriate size and dimensions, kindly resize them accordingly and then upload.
If you didn't face any such consequences while registering and everything went quite well and all the documents were properly submitted and can be previwed (if option available), there's nothing to worry.
