If your EWS have passed its validity date, it cannot be used for further admission into the NIFT for B.Des course or any other institution. It is mandatory to update the EWS Certificate as per the ongoing financial year. An EWS Certificate is valid only for one financial year. If your EWS certificate was of 2020, then its validity got over in March 2021.So, as you have already used it, chances are you will not avail EWS Category. You will be placed under general category. If you meet the cutoff of general category, you will surely get admission.
