You seem to be a research enthusiast. If you want to pursue research in natural sciences like(biological sciences, biotechnology) then pursuing a B.Sc pass Home Science will not be at all in like you want it to be. You should pursue a normal B.Sc from any college which you get and should try to score a good GPA there. After that you can appear for national level exams like IIT JAM to get a seat at the IITs for post graduation. Thereafter, you can pursue a phd in your respective field of your interest and thus secure and fulfill your dream of being a researcher in your respective field.

See if your interest is solely in the Pure science research then going for BSc Pass Home science will not be at all like what you want. I would say, if you can apply for average colleges in which you can get the BSc Hons or BSc in course in Biological Sciences/Biotechnology. Go for them, if its a average college, then with some extra effort you can manage your studies, but if the course is Homescience, your dream to be a researcher will be at stake.
