Hey,

As per the GATE exam eligibility, any undergraduate student in the third year or higher year of any government-approved degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Arts, Commerce or Science can give GATE.

Hope you are doing great.

The marks eligibility for the GATE exam in your bachelor degree shall be more than 40% of the total marks scored in your bachelor degree programme. There is no individual cutoff for the eligibility, but you need score more than 40% in the whole bachelor programme.

As per the eligibility criteria for GATE 2024, there is no upper age limit for candidates applying for IIT MTech admission. It is imperative for candidates to meet the eligibility requirements of the GATE exam; otherwise, they will not be permitted to participate in this national-level entrance test for postgraduate engineering programs.
