Criteria for admission into engineering college through JEE mains is same for candidates of all boards.For being eligible you should have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board, but for admission into IITs,NITs,IIIT, and GFTIs you should have 75% marks in your boards or be in top 20 percentile.Final selection is done of the basis of your marks secured in jee mains qualifying exam.For IISc you should have secured good marks in JEE advance (probably above 280).

Selection in IISC Bangalore are made through JEE Advanced and not JEE main. You have to clear the JEE main cutoff and then give the JEE advanced exam to get in to IISC bangalore btech courses.

General students closing rank for IISc is about 300. That is equal to approx 250-270 makrs out of 370 in JEE advanced 2019.
