As per your query , let me tell you the comparison between IIIT Allahabad and IIIT Lucknow.Actually Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow (IIIT Lucknow) mentored by IIIT Allahabad is one of the 20 IIITs being set up by the Central Government in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode.IIIT Allahabad was established in the year 1999 and later it was awarded the status of a Deemed University by the Government of India. The Ministry of Human Resource Department (MHRD) recognized IIIT Allahabad as “Institutes of National Importance” and one of the nineteen IIITs listed by MHRD.  At present, IIIT Allahabad offers various UG, PG, and Ph.D. courses in different disciplines. The institute is known for its excellent B.Tech program with ECE specialization. Admissions to the program are based on JEE Mains entrance examination followed by CSAB counseling. The JEE Main cutoff for ECE at IIIT Allahabad ranges between 2152 and 7738 for the general category.

Following is the comparison of both colleges on various criteria. Go through all the information, and choose accordingly:

1. College rankings: NIRF has ranked IIIT Allahabad(Govt. college) 87th in their latest ranking. While no such rankings are available for IIIT Lucknow(private college).
2. Placement: Median salary of B.Tech graduates of IIIT Allahabad is INR 19 lacs which is very impressive. No placement data is available for IIIT Lucknow, which is probably due to a lack of placements as college was established in 2015 only.
3. Infrastructure and resources: Both colleges have almost all the basic infrastructure facilities. There's a huge difference between the number of faculty, though. IIIT Allahabad has 66 faculty members compared to 6 in IIIT Lucknow.

So, according to me, IIIT Allahabad is a better choice considering all the criteria.

You have not mention on which subject you want a comparison. But to answer your question both the IIITs are top notch. I mean after all they are IIITs. But if you want a comparison then according to information gathered both the IIITs give same placement , infrastructure of allahabad is better than lucknow, but the teaching faculty of lucknow in some subjects are better than that of allahabad.So you can decide accordingly.
