1. The first stage consists of the IIIT Lucknow placement cell inviting various top companies to conduct a placement drive in their institute by providing all the courses and specialisations.

2. Interested companies will then accept the invitation and confirm their interest in conducting recruitment in the IIIT Lucknow placement drive.

3. They will both then sign an agreement or registration for the further process of guaranteeing recruitment from the company.

4. The company will then set a time for when they would like to conduct placement drives.

5. The placement cell will then provide students with the company’s information and the job positions they are recruiting for, after confirmation of the placement drive.

6. Interested students will then be present for the drive, give an interview and submit their CV.

7. The recruiting company will then decide and select the most promising students for various job profiles based on their skills and courses pursued.

The highest package for B.Tech students increased from Rs 62 LPA in 2024 to Rs 145 LPA in 2025, representing a growth of over 133.9%. Similarly, the average package improved from Rs 29.85 LPA to Rs 33.71 LPA, reflecting a 12.9% increase. While the MTech highest package nearly doubled from Rs 27 LPA in 2024 to Rs 53 LPA in 2025, and the average package increased significantly from Rs 18.5 LPA to Rs 25.1 LPA (a rise of approximately 35.7%), 

MBA students recorded an 87% placement rate with a highest package of Rs 48 LPA and an average package of Rs 10.75 LPA in 2025. Compared to 2024, the MBA highest package surged from Rs 18 LPA to Rs 48 LPA, although the average package declined from Rs 12.5 LPA to Rs 10.75 LPA. Meanwhile, MSc students achieved an 83.33% placement rate, with a highest package of Rs 18 LPA and an average package of Rs 9.8 LPA.
