About IIIT Lucknow
Indian Institute of Information Technology Lucknow started its first batch in the year, 2015, with an intake of 50 students. The mission of IIIT Lucknow is, “to be a unique and world-class nucleating, ‘Apex Center of Excellence’ in the area of Information Technology to enhance India’s Technological strength in Information Technology".
Indian Institute of Information Technology Lucknow is a private-public partnership, set up by the Central Government. The Ministry of Human Resources department, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Industry partner Uttar Pradesh Electronics Corporation Limited have a partnership ratio of 50:35:15, respectively. IIIT Lucknow's fee structure ranges from Rs 1.60 lakhs to Rs 10.18 lakhs.
Indian Institute of Information Technology Lucknow believes that its strength lies in the roots of the old Indian tradition of past centuries and imparts knowledge in the traditional language. IIIT has 10 courses, 4 undergraduate, and 5 postgraduate courses. IIIT Lucknow admissions to B.Tech courses are done based on JEE Main and the seat selection is done by JoSAA/CSAB (Joint Seat Allocation Authority/Central Seat Allocation Board) formed by MHRD and M.Tech courses through GATE examination and must meet IIIT Lucknow cutoff.
Placement cell in IIIT Lucknow conducts workshops and training sessions throughout academic years. College Infrastructure
College is newly made so not much development is done but a decent campus we can say not too far from city.Placed in 60 acres everything is limited but wifi and food is unlimited. Mess and hostel fees is very reasonable.
Same like any other 3rd tier engineering college.

Beautiful infrastructure, Hostels need some work, Hostels are like barracks not rooms. You will get your personal almira with lock, fun to live but uncomfortable at times. First year students are given third party hostels and its a real survival.

The college has all the facilities that are required by aperson to survive.We have around 150 seater classroom, we have computer labs with capacity of about 200 students. The library is also well equipped with good books and AC. Library and laboratories are good place to study.The mess of the college is above average and food is hygenic

I had entered NIT Hamirpur as my 2nd choice and IIIT L as my third choice. I have got NITH in first round of ccmn, and I checked the Closing rank for IIITL, I was eligible for that as well. i want to go for IIIT L, so will I be able to get IIIT L in the second list or should I pay NITH fees for now.

When filling choices make sure you set your priorities staright because once the choices are locked there is no going back.
Even in subsequent rounds, your alloted institute will move only up your preference list and in NO case shall it move downwards.so it is unlikely you get iiit Lucknow
So, getting a better college in subsequent rounds depends solely on how you fill the choices.
