IIIT Bhubaneswar may not be as big as the IITs in India but it does have a beautiful campus and a campus full of fun that is not far from the capital city of Odisha.

The institute provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Programmes: IIIT Bhubaneswar offers B.Tech(IT, CS, CE, EEE, ETC) through JEE Mains marks, M.Tech(CS, ETC) through GATE and its own examination and PHD. It also offers MBA Courses. Some industrial courses in collaboration with industries are also available here.

The institute provides good facilities for student and the institute also has a dedicated training and placement cell, similar to other technical institutes, which take care of all the placement-related activities throughout the whole year.

Placements: Every year placements improves. Nowadays students are getting placed in companies like Microsoft, Visa, McKinsey, etc. Dell used to take for internships also. Infosys, IBM, Capgemini, etc also visit the college.

Established in 2006, International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Bhubaneswar) is a state-level institution and an initiative of the Government of Odisha. In January 2014, the institute was converted to a University by the Odisha government and since then it enjoys academic, financial and administrative autonomy

IIIT Bhubaneswar has signed an MoU with the University of North Texas for research and education development. IBM initiated a university programme with IIIT Bhubaneswar to conduct projects and training sessions for the students within the campus. Capgemini has also joined hands to offer study materials and tools for IIIT Bhubaneswar students. ‘Advaita’ is the annual techno-cultural festival organised by the University whereas ‘Nebulae’ is the welcome party for the BTech freshmen.

IIIT Bhubaneshwar also has good opportunities, highest package offered is 44LPA in CSE offered by Microsoft. Companies like Amazon, Capgemini, Dell, Huawei, Infosys, Paytm, Tech Mahindra etc. have visited the campus for placements.
