The fees of all categories that has to be paid to the institute is same but the SC and ST candidates have a decent chance to acquire a large amount of this through scholarships. There are many category specified scholarships offered by state and central government and acquiring process will be smooth due to friendly and supportive college staff.

Unlike Mhrd IIIT (100% govt) like Gwalior, Allahabad, Kancheepuram, Jabalpur, Kurnool where SC/ST have 100% fee waiver, PPP IIIT (2/3rd government) have zero fee waiver.  Also IIIT L do not provide any scholarship, but you can look up to state government but you have to compete with all the students in the state applying for scholarship. Also state government changes rule occasionally.
