see direct admission is not possible for tier 1 institute. Tier 1 institute has admission test or state wise entrance test to pass for admission in any course. however generally the eligibility criteria for admission in MCA course is that candidates must complete the bachelors degree in any discipline. In some of the institute it is mandatory to have mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 course. however your diploma certificate has not much value for mca admission, you may apply for b.tech course as lateral entry admission to stream like IT , cse.

do research  about college and placement statistics, before joining to any of the institute.

Yes you can get in the colleges which offers direct admission in MCA.However diploma course wont help as diploma course is required only in engineering admission purposes.There are several colleges that give admission to MCA courses directly like Manipal University,Chandigarh University,Brainware,Adamas University etc.

As you asked about MCA, so yes you can get admission in MCA after B. A or diploma. As there are no age limit Or attempt limit in entrance , so you can easily get direct admission in any private colleges. There are some eligibility criteria related to percentage of your graduation degree and also different colleges have different eligibility criteria.As here you didn't mention your city, so i am suggesting some good private colleges in India for MCA.

You also get admission in NITs, DU,JNU, VIT, BITs, JMI, IGDTUW and many more best college for MCA. For admission in these college you have to clear entrance exam, the syllabus for entrance exam mostly cover the 12th maths or graduation maths with easy computer knowledge.
