Reading earlier answers I am franklynot satisfied by anyone.

Because its 2017 and you got to keep up with the changing trends every year.

Suppose in the year 2015 a person scores X marks in boards and Y marks in KCET and his state rank is 10 and in the next year 2016 if some other person scores the same marks in both boards and KCET, then his state rank will be somewhere around 150.

I have experienced it myself. :/

So If you are scoring 285/300.

Then you should be definitely score 170 or above out of 180 then your rank will be below 100 then you have a better chance to get into CSE at RVCE.
