It is a good college  , it is one of the constituent colleges of University of Delhi. Teachers are of helping nature in the college . They help the students in studies as well as in their personal life. . Faculty is quite experienced and the college has a lush green campus with an excellent infrastructure. 

It was previously known as Deshbandhu. There are many societies in the college both departmental and curricular that give maximum exposure. 

You can take admission in this college,  if you are not getting a swat in following top colleges of D.U for english hons. "-

Ramanujan College and P.G.D.AV college both are affiliated with University of Delhi hence the degree that you will hold after 3 years will be the same yet I'd prefer Ramanujan College since it is graded A by NAAC. It's infrastructure is new and so much better than other colleges affiliated with University of Delhi, It has a better location too that is CR park and places like Greater Kailash, Nehru Place, Kalkaji are really close and are considered to be great hangout spots. There are three different metro station near it making it easy to travel from any corner od Delhi. Plus, their faculty for English Literature is excellent. Go for it, no need to change.

See in my view now all the colleges are overall same. What matters is the course you are going to pursue.

English Hons is one of the most sought courses and the Crowd is definitely one of the best. Ramanujan College was earlier an Evening college, but now with the new campus it is surely to attract finest of the students.

If you are opting for English Hons, be ready to meet the finest intellectuals. The kind of exposure you will get in this course is nowhere to be found. This course will make you rational, broaden the spheres of your mind, make you think and definitely change your perception and your personality.
