Belonging to commerce branch will not be a difficulty.I,myself had biology in 12th yet prepared and cleared CLAT and MHCET.
CLAT does not need extreme hours of study but it does need hardwork dedication and smart studying. We have different categories which hold own significant importance .

• Do not skip anything study the whole syllabus.
• Follow the test pattern.
• Prepare study notes and discuss with friends.
• Extensive reading of english.Read books,newspaper magazines.
• Study grammar and give mock cloze tests.
• Follow NCERT maths upto class 10th.
• Legal aptitude requires specific attention. This section will test your interest in law, aptitude and problem solving capacity .Comprising of 4 major topics- law of contract,law of torts,criminal law and indian constitution. Questions will be framed with legal propositions given in paper and facts to which the above has to be applied. You need to assume the truth of these propositions and then give your answers.
• Logical reasoning comprises of puzzles,seating arrangements,number test,verbal reasoning,bloos relation,ranking and order,coding decoding etc.
• If you are all mentally prepared for clat then go for a short coaching class ,understand the syllabus pattern and study chart and then afterwards prefer self study .This will lead you a sure shot seat in the CLAT exam.
