I'm gonna list a few books that are really good for studying statistics:
1) Probability and statistics (4th edition) By Morris H. Degroot

2)All of statistics:A concise course in statistical inference by Larry Wasserman

3)Bayesian Data Analysis by Gelman

4)Statistics by Freedman

5)Modern Applied statistics with S by Venables.
