To admission in NIT's, your Category as well as CRL rank is considered in JOSAA Counselling. If you belong to any of the reserved category, and since reserved category has some reservations, so your category rank will be considered in that case. And if you belong to general category, then only the CRL rank will be considered.

Further, according to the above mentioned rank in OBC-NCL Category, you have very difficult chances of getting any good NIT's in any branch as the Minimum rank required for OBC category students, to get NIT's in core branches, is within 16K-17K (according to the previous year JEE mains Cutoff trends). So, with your abve category rank, it will be difficult to get any good NIT.

However, you can go for many Private colleges as you can get those colleges easily.
