Hi there, Saturday is a holiday in LPU. However, for the students appearing for campus placement interviews, university holds PEP classes. Sometimes, the classes are held by the teachers if they deem fit.

Most engineering colleges have saturday as an off day. Even in LPU usually first and second year students have a holiday on saturday. However by the time you reach 3rd year, placement classes are put up on saturdays so students attend those.
Also theres te fact that if course is lagging behind in some subjecr then extra classes might be taken on saturdays.
