For NIFT 2026 exams, especially in the Creative Ability Test and Situation Test sections, progression or sequence type questions are common. In these questions you may need to show how one element evolves into another such as shapes colors patterns or design concepts. Your answer should clearly indicate the transition from one step to the next using arrows lines or sequential placement. Regarding filling colors in boxes it is generally recommended to use one color per box to keep the answer neat and clear. Using two colors in a single box is usually not allowed unless the instructions specifically mention showing gradients or combination colors. Mixing two colors in one box can reduce clarity and make it harder for evaluators to understand your progression. Always read the instructions carefully and if multiple colors are not mentioned stick to one color per box and use arrows or separate boxes to show progression.
