Vellore Institute of Technology conducts VITMEE to offer M.Tech programmes to various eligible candidates in its Vellore and Chennai campuses. As part of this scholarship programme, top six candidates with the highest GATE score will get a monthly stipend of Rs. 4000. GATE is not mandatory for admission to M.Tech programmes but if you have a good GATE Score then you can submit the GATE Score to avail the scholarship and Stipend from MHRD.

To get scholarship through VIT Master's Entrance Examination you need to submit your GATE score to the program chair, on that basis they will call you for the interview. Based on the interview performance and score you'll be informed regarding your eligibility for scholarship.
