Correct Answer: 1881

Solution : The correct answer is 1881.

Lord Ripon enacted the first Factory Act of 1881. The welfare of minors employed was the main objective of the Factory Act of 1881. It guaranteed that kids younger than seven couldn't work in factories. It is also required that children aged 7 to 12 receive a daily break of one hour and cannot be forced to labour for more than nine hours. Each month, they must also take four days off.
