Institution has taken a step towards empowerment of PBOR by starting the "Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician"(Post B.Sc) course under Aegis of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik of one year duration since 2007 vide Director of Medical Education and Drugs Department letter No MED-1007/CR-22/07/Edn-2 dated 11 Jun 2007 and MUHS, Nashik letter No MUHS/PB/P/DMLT/502/2007 dated 16 Aug 2007. AFMC is affiliated to train 30 candidates per year.
