Bachelor of Science Honours in Polymer Science is an undergraduate Polymer Engineering course. Polymer Science or Macromolecular Science is the subfield of materials science concerned with polymers, primarily synthetic polymers such as plastics. The field of polymer science includes researchers in multiple disciplines including chemistry, physics, and engineering. The course includes chemistry, physics, chemical engineering and biochemistry. Polymer science is the study of the materials of everyday life and the development of new materials that meet societal and technological needs. Course structure introduces the students to Polymers that are usually manufactured in the form of fibres, yarns, flakes and granules. The course is career orienting in nature that provides many jobs after its completion.

Aspiring students should have passed 10+2 with science or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognised school board.
