ADMISSION

The Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) offers M.Tech courses in two different specializations - Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical Power Systems. Total duration of both the M.Tech courses are two years. The college accepts 18 students every year for each of the courses.

For admission in M.Tech in CBIT, the candidate needs to clear either PGECET common entrance exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH), or GATE . Application process for PGECET starts in March while for GATE it starts in September every year.


ELIGIBILITY

  • 70% of the seats are allotted by the convener, based on merit in the exam and counseling of qualified candidates
  • The remaining 30% of the seats fall under management quota, admissions for which can be done directly on merit basis
