First of all I want to make you clear that this university is renounced for courses like BBA , B.Tech etc. B.Sc courses are not on top notch level in this university . But if you are asking whether it's safe or not to choose this. So, the answer will be yes.

But I will suggest you to get more details from seniors as well as try to get in contact of some faculty there . Because they can give you a brief picture.
