BTech in chemical engineering at Haldia is for a four year duration.Thisi institute is approved by AICTE and is also affiliated to Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology.

The faculty is also good and so are the placements.Adani Wilmar , Topchem cement, Praxair, Wacker,S.G biogas, IR chemicals are the few companies that have placed alot of students from Haldia university.
