The criteria may vary PSU to PSU so it would be better which one you are talking about as generally they dont ask for such requirement.

Hi

PSU recruitment is for GATE qualified candidates. The PSUs have certain parameters related to educational qualification of the candidate, marks scored by the candidate in GATE entrance exam, performance in interview or written exam whichever will be conducted.

PSU Recruitment through GATE 2018 will allow you to work with BHEL, SAIL, CEL etc
